Jordan Pearce was born on October 10, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska and is a retired professional hockey goaltender. Jordan played four seasons at the University of Notre Dame and was named the CCHA Goaltender of the Year for the 2007-08 season. Following his standout career in South Bend, Pearce went on to play five professional seasons with the Grand Rapids Griffins and Toledo Walleye.

What was the most memorable moment of your hockey career?

Playing with Notre Dame in the 2008 Frozen Four and National Championship Game.

 

What advice would you give to future professional hockey players?

Go out each day to be the best that you can and enjoy the moment playing every game. Keep in mind that all careers end at some point and prepare yourself to make the most out of your post playing days.

 

What are you doing now since retiring from professional hockey?

Completed medical school and now training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
