Kevin Bieksa was born on June 16, 1981 in Grimsby, Ontario and currently plays defense for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. Nicknamed “Juice” by his teammates, Kevin was selected in the fifth round, 151st overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Kevin joined the Canucks in 2005–06 and helped the team reach the Stanley Cup Final in the 2010-11 season. After 10 successful season with the Canucks, Kevin was traded to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Internationally he represented Team Canada, playing for the squad at the 2014 World Championships.
