Ryan Bach was born on October 21, 1973 in Sherwood Park, Alberta and is a retired National Hockey League goaltender. Ryan played four seasons at Colorado College and was selected in the 11th Round, 262nd Overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. Ryan played eight professional seasons across multiple leagues including a stint with the Los Angeles Kings during the 1998-1999 season. Ryan retired from playing professional hockey in 2004.

What advice would you give to future professional hockey players?

You have to want it more than anything and work for it. Most importantly enjoy every second of it!

 

What are you doing now since retiring from professional hockey?

I am currently the assistant goaltending coach for the Colorado Avalanche
