Director of Hockey Operations and Licensing
David joined the KO Sports team full-time in 2012 after serving as an Intern for two years during law school. David’s role with KO Sports is to scout and identify the best pro hockey prospects in the Western United States and British Columbia, Canada.
Based out of the Denver office, David is also responsible for conducting contract negotiation research and handling Salary Arbitration and Free Agency issues for KO Sports’ clients in addition to providing administrative support for KO Sports and its clients.
Originally from Culver City, California, David grew up playing minor hockey in the Los Angeles area up through Midget AAA. David attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where he won an American Collegiate Hockey Association Division II National Championship in 2005 before receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication in 2008. David then attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2012. David is licensed to practice law in Colorado and is a member of both the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. David also has his Level 4 Coaching Certification through USA Hockey and stays active coaching various Midget, High School and Collegiate Club teams, having won two of the last three Colorado State Championships at the Midget AA 16U level.
