Jason Nicholetts was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he gained the majority of his playing experience through minor and Junior hockey. After ending his competitive playing days, Jason set his sights on coaching and developing players from the minor hockey level through to Junior, College and Professional.

Jason brings 20+ years of coaching, management and development experience from a variety of leagues and levels in the elite stream of hockey. In addition to pursuing and developing players on the ice, Jason has continued to educate himself off the ice successfully completing many coaching certifications, including Hockey Canada’s High Performance curriculum.  He has been very fortunate gaining coaching experience, coaching with and being mentored by Coaches and Hockey development specialists throughout North America and Europe.

Jason has many career highlights but most notable and memorable was being part of the NAIT Ook’s Men’s ACAC championship and a perfect season going 36-0 in 2015/16.

Jason has the innate ability and passion to inspire his players to meet their personal best both on and off the ice and teaches the game with the goals of impacting lives and developing leaders. He is exceptionally proud of motivating a long list of former players that have stayed the course remaining in hockey, and reaching elite player’s status at the AAA, Junior, College and Professional levels.

Jason has always been able to provide a solid, structured, organized, fun and creative program that challenges his players to meet and exceed all expectations.
