EDMONTON, AB – Breaking news from the Edmonton Oilers on Labour Day, that the NHL club has signed forward Ty Tullio to a standard 3-year Entry Level Contract.
Tullio, 19, still has a year of major junior to play. Presumably that will be back home in Ontario Hockey League, which was on hiatus for the entirety of 2020-21 due to COVID. He was recently named captain of the Oshawa Generals.
This contract will surely slide and become effective in 2022-23 when the youngster turns pro. For now it’s merely a promise of future service, and employment.
